The Holy Bible mentions oils in several passages with numerous references to the use of oils for religious and medicinal purposes. Some of the
most significant references to oils in the Bible include:
Anointing oil: The use of anointing oil for consecration and healing is mentioned in several passages in the Old Testament, for example Exodus 30:22-25
Olive oil: mentioned frequently in the Bible and is often associated with prosperity, health, and divine blessings.
Spikenard oil: a fragrant oil made from the root of the spikenard plant, is mentioned in the New Testament in the story of Mary anointing Jesus' feet (John 12:3).

Meet your Facilitator...
Dawne Horizons
Is a born again, spirit filled believer and disciple of Christ. She has been serving God since her youth and serving in Ministry over 28 years. She also has over 24 years experience with pure therapeutic grade essential oils. Dawne was Certified in Healing Oils of the Bible, The Chemistry of Essential Oils and Emotional Release with Aromatherapy in 2006. Dawne has directly studied with D. Gary Young, Founder of Young Living Essential Oils and the "10 Oils of Ancient Scripture" as well as Dr. David Stewart, minister and the author of, "Healing Oils of the Bible".
Dawne is the Owner & Operator of Dawne Horizons Spa & Wellness Ctr. located in northern Virginia and serves the DC & MD areas. A New York native she opened her spa in 2006 in her home and travelled teaching in the five boroughs and abroad. She has countless stories and testimonials of helping clients to heal and improve their healthy naturally - with God's medicine, as she likes to call it. She and her children moved to Virginia in 2011.
Her five children, were raised holistically using natural remedies and essential oils as both preventative and health maintenance. They are now adults ranging in age from 19-31. Dawne loves teaching her four grandchildren about essential oils and God's remedies to continue her legacy.
Dawne was commissioned by God to "make healthy disciples" in 2005. This is a calling that she takes seriously and has become a significant part of her life's purpose.
